There aren't many complexes like this, I think to myself as I finish my visit to the "Lev Carmel Estate" in Kerem Maharal. And I'm not just talking about the relative proximity to the central area, which allows those who want a little jump abroad 40 minutes from Tel Aviv. These are definitely romantic B&Bs with three truly unconventional wooden cabins that redefine the concept of 'quiet' in design. Pleasant shades, a decent living space, and a lot of respect for the surrounding nature. Just as important - I discovered Yehudit here - a hostess who can set an example for others.

If you ask Natalie Portman and other "celebs" who have stayed here, you will almost certainly hear the same statement (and she is not the only "celeb" who stays here regularly - see the full review). The place has gained a great reputation among insiders for being unique in the country: a simply perfect location "on the view" in magical Amirim, meticulous, smart, uncompromising design, with a distinct European flair, and exceptionally high-quality furnishings that match the overall quality.
