Deluxe B&B's in northern Israel, in the Western Galilee, on the settlement of Harduf: Kibbutz Harduf was established in 1982 in the Nahal Zippori region of the (lower) Western Galilee, by a group of young families and singles. The uniqueness of the site, aside from the magical vistas of the Galilee, lies in the kibbutz community which resides there in a new spirit, from a bond to anthroposophy – the spiritual philosophy of the existence of an objective spiritual world, founded by Dr. Rudolf Steiner.
Over the years, activities have developed on Hardof in the fields of education, rehabilitation, medicine, arts, agricultural, organic foods and – most recently – deluxe B&B's and tourism.
480 people live on Hardof today, 120 of which are children and adults with special needs, within the four frameworks of rehabilitation existing in the kibbutz. The residents of Hardof maintain special bonds with the population of the region – both Jews and Arabs. Among other things, Hardof offers joint Jewish/Arab activities, particularly in the areas of education and rehabilitation. Deluxe B&B's on Hardof enjoy a unique atmosphere innate in the spirit of the kibbutz as well as in the excellent physical location of the site.
