After we decided, at the height of the summer vacation, to spontaneously go to a zimmer in the north with treats at a sane price, we didn't think it was realistic... everything was taken, and what was available seemed rather suspicious to still be available... we laughed on the phone that we couldn't find anything between now and then! And after the verge of despair that we found nothing, we found Or in the vineyard... The light went down the moment the phone conversation with Annette! We already received her warm energies over the phone and knew we were on our way to her...
Of course, after a long trip you don't trust (or at least I'm five months pregnant)
No one who is honest comes with suspicions to check the B&B which is indeed as in the published pictures... so everything was above and beyond what was expected! Much more beautiful than the pictures! Annette welcomed us with hugs and kisses, we received lots of treats in the room... hot cakes that had just come out of the oven, and a frozen ice cream cake with extra cookies for coffee in the fridge which is bursting with goodness! I relaxed and knew that I could rest happily... The cleanliness of the room was excellent, everything was polished and shiny without any trace of dust, the landscaping of the B&Bs in the complex is simply stunning, everywhere there are tropical flowers and butterflies!!
The place does not serve breakfast, but Annette's treats cannot be compared to any breakfast! I woke up the next day to the smells of hot sponges with plates of jams made by the queen's own hands! And it doesn't end there! The gachanon and the cakes that came after that already put me off :) Behind the zimmer there is an excellent pastry restaurant with an amazing view in case that's not enough for you... 150 meters near
The pool: how important it is!! The photo published today on the site is not current
There are huge new sofas in the complex, the pool is much bigger than the pictures, the pool is completely private!!! You don't hear or see anything except lots of white butterflies :) We were 3 full cabins, we didn't get to meet the other couples much because the complex is very isolated and gives 100% privacy, it is even possible to coordinate hours with Annette and have the pool completely private.
To finish! We will definitely go back there, the price, the pampering and the hospitality were above and beyond!
Annette is a real queen! It's very hard not to fall in love with her and her place!
