A bit about the

As soon as you go down the stairs you see a large Jacuzzi Spa in a beautiful yard with little herb garden.  At the entrance to the suite is a living room in retro style, where homemade cookies and a bottle of wine await.  The kitchen is equipped for light dairy cooking and the fridge has more refreshments.

In the middle of the space is a huge canopy bed covered in soft, white sheets.  The bathroom is spacious and modern.  Glass doors opposite the bed face the sea, and lead to a spacious deck terrace with blue and white chairs.

The complex is located about 350 m from the railway - take this into account. It didn't bother us, on the contrary - something European.

Which of us is romantic, clinging to the fantasy that there are still undiscovered, romantic B&B vacation rentals that aren't far from home, that you can escape to for a calm, country weekend?  Well, this is the place.

Imagine this picture:  you are sitting on the terrace in the evening, the sunset sky is a brilliant orange and red.  You look around:  from the south, a spacious, green field.  The conservation area of Hof Dor Habonim.  And beyond it, the hypnotic blue of hte Mediterranean.

Location and ambience

In the last few years it happened to me a million times that I passed the builders' settlement on the coastal road and I asked myself jealously who are the lucky ones who got to live in this great place? Two meters from Tel Aviv, a meter from Haifa and a centimeter from the most expensive beach in Israel. Where was I when the luck was distributed?!

One of the lucky ones who had a little better luck is waiting for me at the end of the extension neighborhood in Moshav. Her name is Natalie and she is actually from New York City. 'If I'm going to leave New York, at least to a place like this' I think. True, it is important to note that trains occasionally pass through the field that separates the complex from the sea, but when I see the open spaces from every direction, I wonder why drive hours to a B&B at the end of the world, when there is a place like this 45 days from Tel Aviv.


What does the place include

Although it is a residential neighborhood, there is space between the neighbors so that the view and the silence do their part. We go down external stairs to the single suite , under the guest house, and enter a pleasant and not large space with an impressive four-poster bed in the center. Natalie brags that it's an American king size, but I'm more interested in what you see from the bed. A large glass wall facing west brings in a meadow, Kurkar hills and a sea that makes you want to get on the bike next to the B&B, say hello to beautiful Nathalie and fly to the beach (and when I say 'beach' I'm not talking about a dense strip of sand with millions of children, but about small and intimate coves that only exist here).

You should know

Natalie, the host, enthusiastically tells me about many attractions in the area and the skydiving club which is right here. By the way, a marginal detail: Natalie was until recently the pastry chef of a remote hotel called 'Ritz-Carlton' New York. I don't know how it works for you with a figure and a swimsuit, but treats that worked for Hollywood stars work great for me too.

We left with a feeling of

Those of us who belong to the romantic type, longingly cling to the fantasy that there are still romantic B&Bs that have yet to be discovered, and that are not so far from home, to which you can escape for a relaxing weekend in the village... When I left the "Shell Beach" I realized that just one of these was added to the "Pesga Guide" at the moment.

Just what we needed
We arrived at the Shell Beach B&B after a very busy period... work... children... we were greeted by the amazing Natalie and the smell of warm (and delicious!!!) cookies waiting for us at the B&B. The B&B itself is pleasant, elaborate and very pampering... the huge bed that overlooks the view of Bonim Beach, the breeze from the sea (within walking distance!!!), the jacuzzi that is located outside (a wonderful experience in itself), the sitting area on the balcony that overlooks the sea... This is exactly what we needed! highly recommend!!!

Clamshell beach is recommended!!
Lovely B&B! A B&B that allows pampering rest and enjoyment of a one-of-a-kind beach. From the B&B itself and the balcony you can see the sea, and you can also reach the sea easily from the B&B (on foot/ on the landlady's bike/ by car). The B&B itself is clean, well-kept and there is a clear investment in the details that will allow pampering and rest. Like- comfortable and varied seating areas, light and tasty refreshments also at no extra charge. The jacuzzi is wonderful and very high quality, so even though it's outside we enjoyed it even on the cool days we were there. The owner of the guesthouse is charming! Pleasant, positive, available and attentive. It is highly recommended

Perfect for a romantic couple vacation
Shell Beach is a perfect place for those looking for a romantic and quality vacation in the center. The design, the view and the air that comes from the sea create an atmosphere of freedom and you immediately forget that you are only 40 minutes from Tel Aviv. Natalie, the owner of the B&B, is lovely. In her past in the US she worked as a pastry chef at the Rich Carlton, and this is definitely noticeable in the amazing breakfast she serves - both aesthetically and in taste. ), and full of goodies (fruit basket, bottle of wine, fridge with yogurts, cookies, bathrobes and shoes...). We really enjoyed ourselves, and highly recommend the place. Natalie, thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

In honor of my wife's birthday, we went on vacation at the Seashell Beach B&B.
Already on the phone we knew we were on the right track.
Natalie, the owner of the B&B, is lovely.
Made special cookies for my wife and a happy birthday sign painted in chocolate.
The view from the B&B is amazing.
Lying in a huge bed and looking at the sea.
We made sure every evening to be in a current pool outside at sunset.
There are no such things.
In a short walk you reach Dor Bonim Nature Reserve.
The northern part is amazing and the southern part even more so.
Also included in the price were two pairs of bicycles.
We have already recommended to friends and will recommend to you.

A very recommended place

We arrived after our wedding to a simply perfect place. We couldn't have asked for more. Natalie welcomed us very nicely and explained to us the various things that are available at the B&B. We looked around and were simply amazed at what a perfect place we had arrived. The place was clean and tidy, the bed was the most comfortable we slept on. The jacuzzi was excellent and the shower was pampering. Pleasant surprises were waiting for us in the fridge.
The next day we took the B&B's bikes and got instructions on how to ride to the sea to the magical beach right nearby, 5 minutes ride simply recommended.
The place is decorated with a very good taste.

The B&B is highly recommended

Our stay at the B&B was lovely, we highly recommend the B&B and thank Natalie for the wonderful hospitality.
The B&B is beautiful, very clean, well equipped, has complete privacy (even in the jacuzzi which is surrounded by thatch on top and on the sides) and many treats and the photos on the website are very reliable.
The view to which the guest house overlooks is breathtaking and it was a pleasure to get up to it in the morning from the bed, which is also very beautiful and comfortable :)
We also ordered breakfast, which is an additional charge but totally worth its price, it is very tasty and indulgent and we were especially enthusiastic about the excellent pastries that Natalie made.
We also really enjoyed the bikes and walked with them along the reserve, which is very close to the B&B.
In short, we came back with a lot of good experiences from the vacation at the Zimmer, highly recommended :)

Shell Beach B&B - simply amazing

Well, let's start with the fact that the B&B itself is simply stunning in its design, everything is designed in detail and the B&B is simply romantic and amazing. The view is stunning, you can see the sea and you can take a fun trip to the sea with a pair of bicycles. Excellent breakfast and Natalie's pastries are simply amazing! We enjoyed every moment of complete privacy and quiet, calm and peace!! highly recommend!
