ילדים – עבודה – משכנתא... מה הסיכוי למצוא במרדף הזה זמן לביחד שלכם (להירדם יחד על הספה מול הטלוויזיה לא נחשב)?... אם תנסו להיזכר מתי החלפתם שלושה משפטים רצופים שלא כוללים את המילים - 'בוס'/ 'חיתולים'/ 'ביטוח', סביר שתחזרו לשנות ה-90. ה"בעיה": כשכבר יהיה לכם רגע לבד, אתם עלולים לא לדעת מה לעשות איתו. הבעיה היותר קשה: 'סולם יעקב' ייתן לכם הרבה רגעים כאלה...

פרטיות. זה הקטע פה, וזה מתחיל כבר בדרך שמטפסת מהכינרת אל המושב המבודד והיפה הזה, מעלה גמלא. אני יורד לשכונת ההרחבה ופוגש חיוך ענקי שמחוברת אליו בחורה בשם מלי – בעלת המקום המקסימה. "אנחנו בדיוק מתקינים קירוי לבריכות המחוממות" אומר לי החיוך, כשאנחנו צועדים בשביל העץ אל חומת במבוק צפופה, המסתירה שתי בקתות תאומות.

שער נפתח, שער נסגר ואנחנו לבד. כמה לבד? לגמרי. הבמבוק והצמחייה שמסביב מעלימים מהעין את ביתה של מלי, את הבקתה השכנה ואת כל מה שלא רלוונטי לזוג שרוצה קצת פרטיות (למרות שהבמבוק הוא כל מה שמפריד בין מתחמי הבקתות).

בתוך הלבד בולטת (תרתי משמע) בריכה פרטית מוגבהת על במת עץ. כמה מדרגות מטפסות אליה ואל 'דק' שנעטף קירוי שקוף בחורף ושמשיה בקיץ. "הבריכה מחוממת" אומרת מלי, ואני מגיב בחיוך סקפטי של מי שכבר קיבל כוויות קור בבריכות מחוממות... אני טובל אצבע והסקפטיות מתחלפת בהפתעה: "וואללה חם!...." אני אומר והיא שוב מחייכת אלי.

אנחנו יורדים אל מרפסת קטנה בין הבקתה לקיר הבריכה. בהמשך יש גם חצר עם נדנדה, אני נכנס פנימה ומגלה שכמו כל המתחם גם הבקתה אינטימית וחמימה, וקירותיה צבועים בגוון שמנת נעים.

העץ שולט בסלון הקטן (שדלת הזזה מחברת אותו למרפסת מול הבריכה), במטבחון ובפינת האוכל, ומופר רק בג'קוזי הפינתי ש"עטוף" סלעי בזלת מקומיים. מול הג'קוזי תמצאו חדר רחצה ובעומק הבקתה - חדר השינה, עם מיטה רחבה הצופה למסך LCD ומוקפת ריהוט עץ קלאסי.

3/4 שעה מאוחר יותר, כשאני יוצא משער הבמבוק, אני פתאום נזכר שיש עולם בחוץ. קל לשכוח את זה בקפסולה האינטימית של 'סולם יעקב', שמבודדת אתכם לחלוטין מהעולם. אם למרות הבלגאן המכונה 'חיים', עדיין לא שכחתם מה עושים עם זמן איכות זוגי – זה מקום מעולה בשבילכם. אם שכחתם – זה מקום מעולה להיזכר...
What does the place include
Inside the felt stands out (literally) a private pool raised on a wooden platform. Some stairs climb to it and to the 'Dak'.
We go down to a small balcony between the cabin and the pool. Further on there is also a yard with a swing, I go inside and discover that like the whole complex, the cabin is also intimate and warm, and its walls are painted in a pleasant cream shade.

The tree dominates the small living room (which a sliding door connects to the balcony in front of the pool), the kitchenette and the dining area, and is violated only by the corner jacuzzi that is "wrapped" in local basalt rocks. In front of the jacuzzi you will find a bathroom and in the depth of the cabin - the bedroom, with a wide bed facing an LCD screen and surrounded by classic wooden furniture.

We left with a feeling of
3/4 hour later, as I exit the bamboo gate, I suddenly remember that there is a world outside. It's easy to forget that in the intimate capsule of 'Solem Jacob', which completely isolates you from the world. If despite the mess known as 'life', you still haven't forgotten what to do with quality time as a couple - this could be an excellent place for you. If you forgot - you can try to remember.

A pleasant experience
Meli is very nice, the guest house was clean, warm and cozy. The only thing that bothered us is that the pool is definitely covered but the water was not warm enough to enter and have a pleasant dip. Beyond that, it is also highly recommended for the summer months

Not recommended at all!
2 soldiers came to celebrate a birthday. From the moment it got dark outside, illogical amounts of cockroaches and cockroaches started coming out of the ceiling beams, it seems that there is a nest there that is not taken care of. The level was unbearable and even after we killed a large number, cockroaches didn't stop coming out (in area 15) while we were there. When we approached the owners of the place, we were treated with disdain, they said that we should say thank you that it is not a snake or a scorpion and they did not return our money even when we did not stay to sleep there and went home. When we tried to make contact again, our phone was disconnected inside. not recommended!

Not good
We stayed at Aliza's Zimmer, which is very nice, but the accommodation was not good enough for the price paid. First of all, this is not the place for those looking for space and a view, the complex is closed on the verge of claustrophobia, there is almost no place outside to sit, there is a feeling of suffocation and there is nothing to do in the B&B, certainly not with children, except sleep. We were told that the pool was heated, but when we arrived it turned out that it was not and there is a jacuzzi in a tent in the yard, it is not a heated pool. The fireplace you see in the picture does not exist. Many cats, not the owner's, roam outside, enter the room and even my child was bitten and screamed for two hours, I was sure it would end up in a hospital but it passed. The highlight was when I came to shower the girl, a water pipe in the shower exploded on me and boiling water flew on my hand and face. The owner of the guesthouse came to change the faucet. A second after the event, the electricity went out for the first time while I was showering the girl. The owner of the guesthouse turned the electricity back on. And so the electricity went up and down at least five times during the Egyptian dark showers. Every evening there was flooding in the shower area and all the towels were on the floor, the shower is not sealed and all the water comes out. When we left we asked Aliza for compensation and she gave us a discount of NIS 200. Aliza claimed that the price was higher to begin with and we received a discount, which was not true because before we arrived at the Zimmer we received confirmation of the amount. The owners of the B&B are very nice and came to help every time something broke down, but that's not how a vacation should be and that's not how it should end.

Good design, place needs repairs
A quiet and pleasant place, a nice hostess, a jacuzzi in the yard is cool, only repairs are needed. A pool without heating, handles falling apart, electricity jumped when we turned on a jacuzzi in the yard. A very small kitchen, no room for space, no electrical outlets

Not a good experience
The owners of the place have changed. We found a neglected and dilapidated, unmaintained B&B, the owners of the place did not and barely understood Hebrew, on the first day we asked for the completion of missing equipment and in return they showed a negative and suspicious attitude and asked us to transfer the entire payment to them before they complete the missing equipment... we never encountered a lack of service And such a strange attitude. In the B&B, the lights don't work, the kitchen is missing without plates and basic products, the bars of the pool gate are broken, trees are not trimmed, the barbecue area is missing, a sofa that was supposed to be used as a bed for children and is not even suitable for sitting. In conclusion, really not worth the price! Neglected B&B and a bad hospitality experience

It cost us NIS 1200 per night, a reasonable place, but not worth the price.

Surfer's message: You can't sit on the sofa, it's clearly uncomfortable. You cannot connect an HDMI cable to the TV in the bedroom because the TV is too close to the wall. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and so was the owner, but there is no view, and the price is too high for what you get, compared to other guesthouses.

The response of the host, Melli: Hi Ricky, you arrived at us late after you were disappointed with another B&B you booked. When you arrived, you asked for time to deliberate, and after half an hour of touring the place, you decided to take the B&B.

According to what you wrote, part of your disappointment is that there is no view in the place. The fact that we don't have a view was clear to you before we closed, and you even said that you think the place is beautiful despite that, so it's a little strange to me (:

Regarding the television in the bedroom - it is customary to have televisions attached to the wall. On the other hand, you also had at your disposal the television in the living room that is not attached to the wall and you can connect a cable there more conveniently.

Regarding the price - in my humble opinion, 1,200 NIS for a quality B&B with a heated private pool in Ma'ale Gamla, for a single night on the weekend, is a fair price by all accounts. A quick search on the website will show you that most of the prices are higher.

I am sorry if the experience was not perfect in your eyes, and I hope that your next vacation will be successful.

Meli, the host, shared a conversation with Alon that the guests arrived at her late after being disappointed with another B&B they had booked. When they arrived she gave them the option to see the place (they even took half an hour to decide). In the end they decided to stay and said that the place was beautiful in their eyes. They said they were looking for a place with a view but it was clear that there was no view (this is transparent, especially since they were there and therefore they have nothing to complain about) regarding the television - it is customary for the television to be attached to the wall. The TV in the living room is not attached to the wall and you can connect a cable there more conveniently. Regarding the price - 1200 NIS for a quality place with a heated private pool in Ma'ale Gamla for a single night on the weekend is a fair price by all accounts. From a quick search on the website you can see that most of the prices are higher.
