A bottle of wine, chocolate, milk, a variety of tea and coffee.
When was the last time you visited a non-standard place? Anyone who knows Klil already knows - it's one of the most special places there is: on a green mountainside, ecological buildings are scattered over vast areas, with roads that have been built over time, the sun providing the electricity and Mother Nature overseeing everything. The result is amazing, quite pristine and somewhat reminiscent of a visit to a "secret" place - one that time has not corrupted.
I must say that despite my experience as a guest house visitor, this is my first time visiting Klil. It is a relatively young settlement (established in 1979) that is not yet fully regulated by the authorities, so it does not have modern infrastructure. This is good for you, because it means that nature is the sovereign. The houses there are scattered across the vast expanse, and everything speaks an ecological language.
There is a real return to the origins, to nature, to a pristine place full of life. Silence, fertile land, natural treasures, mesmerizing views and unimaginable spaces. So true, the solar panel doesn't allow you to turn on the air conditioner at night, but the dream location allows a pleasant breeze to come in, so there's no reason to ruin this dream.
"Klil Hanof" is located on the outskirts of the settlement, on 4 dunams of fertile land. In 2012, Avigail and Yossi settled on this land and began to arrange, plant and develop the place. "This place is simply amazing. Everything you plant like this just grows without a problem," says Avigail. She points to a fertile and rich tomato bush - "I threw a tomato here not long ago and look what came out."
They recently opened up the possibility of staying there, with two interesting options: a fine country house facing a superb panoramic view and an intimate suite that suits a couple really well.
Abigail guides me to a short dirt road that leads to a mesmerizing view. In this very isolated area, I see the host's house and the guest houses. I feel a bit like I'm in some distant European country. Or in short, in a place that other tourists don't get to, even though every now and then a car passes by on a nearby road, reminding me that a few minutes' drive away there is another life.
"Yuval's House" was used Previously the hosts' daughter, and Yuval is the beloved grandson. Perhaps this explains the feeling that this place was built with a lot of love and attention. The most striking thing about the house is the view that penetrates every corner and every room, the clear air and the clean-rustic design. Natural elements such as wood and local stone create a pleasant and warm atmosphere and connect the building to the place.
The front "thin" balcony from which you enter the building has an inviting seating area, rich in flowers and vegetation. Hold your breath, because the back balcony is going to captivate you. In short, rich people's problems.
Complete with what you need - three bedrooms (one with an en suite bathroom), a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a piano on one side and a large wood-burning fireplace on the other, and access to the spacious back "deck" balcony that overlooks an amazing, green panoramic view. Be warned - with a spa jacuzzi facing the view, a swing overlooking the sea, a wide hammock, a seating area with a view, and a dining area - it's a little hard to tear yourself away from it. The "Dafna" cabin is A sweet, intimate, and not large wooden cabin, with a natural private pool facing the view. Private parking leads to a covered, private balcony full of greenery with a comfortable, designed seating area.
This cabin is very well designed with a lot of emphasis and attention to detail and a lot of good taste. There are restored doors, vintage furniture and a choice of colors that gives a good, open feeling, one that enhances the nature around.
The cabin has one space, with 3 air directions and an excellent breeze. There is a double bed in the center of the space, and a spacious kitchenette without the option of cooking. From the cabin there is an exit to the back outdoor area, which has a natural private pool facing the view with a natural waterfall, comfortable sun loungers facing the view. This is undoubtedly one of the most special and "natural" complexes I have covered. The hosts are special people who have chosen to get out of the endless cycle of life's stress, live contentedly and enjoy themselves as much as possible. They allow their guests to taste a little of it all - maybe you'll just leave with a smile, or maybe you'll gain an insight that is life changing.
