Location - a pleasant road in the Galilee landscape
The road to Moshav Zuriel is quite beautiful. Lots of rolling scenery and excellent air. Don't get confused, they don't make cheese here... but there is a lot of agriculture and orchards - mainly peaches. The ride inside the settlement is pleasant and leads to an electric gate that leads to private parking for guests of the complex.
The cabins are reached after a short and pleasant walk inside the complex from the parking lot to the cabins.
The complex - a swimming pool in front of the open landscape
The five dunams of the complex, overlooking an excellent panoramic view, contain cultivated land rich in vegetation, flowers, fruit trees, spice plants, decorative elements (an old small cannon, a designed water well, a fish pond...), shaded seating areas, hammocks, a BBQ area and even a recycling area... Did we say foreign mentality?
The swimming pool, suitable for bathing in all seasons of the year due to being heated and with a modular roof, is located at some distance from the cabins in order to move it a little further from the B&Bs and minimize the noise for their residents. It is a built pool of 5x10, surrounded by a wooden "deck" with sunbeds and a hammock right in front of the excellent view.
In addition, there is a shared spa cabin with a large spa jacuzzi, a large sauna, a shared kitchen equipped for cooking, a coffee machine, a TV and a large dining table. The spa cabin is also well designed and rich in design details and a rustic atmosphere.
The cabins - big bed, fireplace and pleasant design
The cabins are almost identical except for minor design changes, different colors and different bathrooms. The interior of the cabins contains a very large double bed (200x200), a kitchenette without the possibility of cooking with a water bar, a coffee machine, a wooden dining table, a wood-burning fireplace, a living room area with a small sofa, a dresser and a TV, and a round jacuzzi with reflective windows all around (in addition to a shading curtain).
You will also find a wooden wardrobe, a large mirror and chests of drawers next to the bed. The bathroom is comfortable and spacious with a large shower, heating for the winter and lots of attention to toiletry needs. Another room offers up to 3 beds (one opens), a small dresser and a TV.
The hosts - great attention to detail, with a European approach
Nita and Miki are quite experienced guests, who have become hosts for several years. The thing that characterizes them the most is the attention to detail, which is very noticeable in the place. Nita deals with finances and Miki is the secretary of the moshav. Both were on many missions overseas, so their hospitality experience, mentality and pedantry they mainly acquired abroad and following their occupations.
Wanting everything to be perfect, they simply do everything here, almost without the help of outside professionals, and the result is impressive: the design was done by Nita, and Miki took care of the construction. Today he also takes care of the impressive landscaping, maintenance and even breakfast. They are always in the complex and try to be very accessible to guests.
In conclusion - Nostalgia is a beautiful thing, and we definitely have the desire to see more complexes like "Marganit in the Galilee" which manage to preserve something of the simple and good quality rural holiday culture of the past. A place where everything is aimed at the right energy, calm and quiet. The special hosts here contribute quite a bit to this with a professional, courteous approach, and with a lot of attention to detail.
