A bit about theB&B's

These two wood cabins are completely identical, and look out over a magnificent, open view of the Galilee mountains.  Inside the cabins - a huge space divided visually into the central area and the bedroom area, which is on a slightly raised level.  The open, relaxed space is enhanced by the clean, sharp and uncrowded design.

We liked it
Well-insulated cabins with a spectacular view. Unlike most of the cabins in Matat, access to Yifat's cabins is relatively easy and comfortable and is also suitable for older guests.
We noticed that
The guesthouse is located between the two units, but there are separate entrances and there is no sense of disturbance. A road passes under the B&Bs that occasionally passes, but the forest gives a sense of good privacy.

Nature. Landscape. Clean, uncluttered design. These are the "foundations" that Yifat, the host, built for her two wooden cabins. Mitzpe Matat has long since become a household name as an amazing place with cabins that are characterized by energy and a "different" feel. These wooden cabins are definitely included with those isolated cabins that make Matat what it is. And of course, the treats: the view balcony, the huge round jacuzzi, the wood-burning fireplace, and the full refrigerator.

Location and ambience

The settlement of Matat is a rare phenomenon: a settlement that refuses to change, to lose its natural charm, to give up the truth, the story, the character: lush landscapes, open to the blue horizon, from Rosh HaNikra to the entrances of Haifa Bay. A wild Canaanite forest, packed with primeval nature, undisturbed by the noise of cars and pompous construction.

A narrow road winds around the settlement and leads to a village of "once upon a time", where each house is different from its neighbor, one that hides among ancient trees, in an atmosphere of simplicity, modesty, and peace.

So are Yifat's two wooden cabins - located at the edge of the settlement in perfect privacy, deep in a natural forest and overlooking the Galilee Mountains from a bird's eye view. A large balcony overlooking the mesmerizing view, a large and bright space, sophisticated furnishings, clean design - allow you to relax here quickly, breathe easily, feel comfortable.

The guesthouse is located between the two units, but there are separate entrances and good privacy. A road passes under the cottages that occasionally passes, but the forest gives a feeling of good privacy.


What does the place include

Unlike most of the B&Bs in Matat, access to Yifat's cabins is relatively easy and comfortable and is also suitable for older guests. The two wooden cabins are completely identical, and both offer a spectacular, open view of the Galilee Mountains. The cabins have a spacious space, visually divided into a central area and the sleeping area, which is located on a higher level. You will not find cheap kitsch or unnecessary items here - the cabin is made with an emphasis on quality, clean design, and elegant simplicity.

The wide balcony overlooking the view, the real "star" of the B&B, opens to the nearby natural forest and the magnificent views of the green Galilee Mountains on the horizon. Next to the balcony stands a large round jacuzzi facing the view.

For those seeking an intellectual challenge, a selection of board games and reading books are offered here. In the center of the cabin is a stone-covered wood-burning fireplace for heating in the winter.

You should know

A hike to Mount Adir, the Mount Meron Reserve, the alleys of Hurfeish.

There is an amazing view, complete privacy, quality furnishings and a clean and precise design. A perfect environment for those seeking solitude, in a peaceful and pastoral atmosphere.

The best we've been to!!!!!
This is the best B&B we've been to in the last 5 years. It has everything equipped to a high standard, a decent price for a B&B that has ingredients for a full breakfast with cheeses and home-made delicacies that were excellent, a crazy warm and isolated atmosphere, just a dream of a place!!!

An unforgettable experience
My father and his partner were hosted at a funeral as a birthday present from us. Although we saw good reviews and were impressed by the photos, we did not expect such a high level of satisfaction from them! The combination of thinking about every little detail in the cabin, the equipment, the quality of the cabin and the spectacular view together with warm and pleasant hospitality from the owner of the place created an unforgettable experience for them. A romantic and fun vacation
Lovely Yifaat! She greeted us with a warm smile. She was available for any question. The bed and breakfast is charming and spacious, immersed in a green forest with a sweet little balcony. We had a fun jacuzzi. Candles and foam and robes. Fully equipped kitchen, surprising treats and thinking about every possible detail. It warms the heart to feel the investment and care. Really really not obvious!!
