Peace, rest and an atmosphere that cannot be explained in words
It was a perfect stay. A weekend of calm and rest. The open view, the privacy, the hot pool and the delicious cookies of Inbal the host made the whole experience exceptional. We will definitely be back again!

Great, we will go back there again
The B&B is quiet and private, clean and tidy. The outdoor pool is fun - heated and built of stone. The hosts are lovely and willing to help with anything. A perfect place for a couple's vacation.

Experienced, quiet and pleasant
Indoor water attractions, a jacuzzi and an outdoor pool that are fun to enjoy especially in the evening. There are cooking utensils and we managed to prepare food, it is good to know ahead of time what to eat because there is nothing available 24/7, you have to order things in the locality a day in advance otherwise you have to travel to other localities like Jish (Gush Halav) to eat in a restaurant. Overall excellent and recommended

A bit about the

One of two beautiful, green-roofed wood cabins -  well-secluded and dipped in the nature, silence and beautiful landscape of Har Mattat.  The cabin is at the bottom of a slope and seems to be suspended among the trees, with an open, panoramic view.  The sunsets are amazing here, and the sight of the goats returning from the meadows in the evening is like a scene from Song of Songs.

Aryeh and Inbal have built two beautiful, green-roofed wood cabins, well secluded in nature and silence across from Mt. Mettet.  The upper cabin is concealed in a natural forest and its terrace looks out over the mountain, while the lower cabin seems to be floating in an open, expansive landscape.  Ariyeh tells of magnificent sunsets and of the sight of goats returned from pasture in the evening, like a scene from Song of Songs.
 

Location and ambience

The "Tree of Life" complex offers wooden cabins that combine simplicity and rusticity, in the best sense of the word, with creativity. Craftsman works in wood (various combinations of trees in the cabins themselves as well as artistic furniture items), and original pottery works (made by Inbal's hands) create an artistic and unique atmosphere. Authentic objects from Morocco and India decorate the interior of the cabins and blend in with their warm colors. The complex offers two cabins: the upper cabin, "Labuna", is located in a natural forest and the balcony overlooks the mountain, and the lower one "Moor", as if suspended in an open and wide landscape.

What does the place include

The two wooden cabins have a wood fireplace for heating, and a large round jacuzzi facing the view with full privacy in the outdoor areas. Each cabin has a private heated plunge pool. That of the lower log cabin, "Moore", overlooks a magnificent open landscape. There is Three windows that create a panoramic view even from inside the cabin. A common oak tree grows out of a hole in the floor of the balcony and the feeling is of isolation and intimacy in the nature that surrounds on all sides.

The "Labona" cabin is located in the natural grove and is identical in fittings to the "Moor". Keep in mind that the bed in this unit is very intimate - 140 cm wide.


You should know
The design combines artistic rustic carpentry and original pottery, made by the hostess. Can be purchased at the studio.

If you wanted to disconnect from the routine and connect with nature - it seems that you have come to the right place. These are well insulated B&Bs with an impressive view in the heart of the forest. An extraordinary experience, perhaps spiritual.

warmly recommended
The guesthouse is in a calm, lonely and quiet location. More beautiful in reality, a "warm" and homely place with nice hosts. The B&B is built entirely of wood and natural raw materials are used. There are all the facilities found in B&Bs, but somehow the B&B manages to create an atmosphere of an amazing hot tub house outside

An experience in the Mor cabin at the Tree of Life B&B in Matat
We arrived at the Tree of Life B&B, on the occasion of a couple's celebration. The cabin is secluded, sits on the side of a ravine and overlooks the landscape. Inside the cabin there is a pampering jacuzzi and a wood-burning fireplace (an essential detail in the mat...) The peace and quiet and privacy are perfect. And above all - a stone pool of hot water outside the cabin - which makes the stay at the Moore cabin an unforgettable experience. Aryeh and Inbal are the ideal hosts from our point of view - smiling, kind, happy to help and above all - give a feeling of privacy and intimacy.

What a magical place!
My partner and I arrived in honor of his birthday at the Tree of Life B&B directly from the distant Eilat! The long way was worth every moment in the B&B. It started with the warm and inviting attitude of Arie, the owner of the B&B, who insisted on giving a comfortable and pleasant feeling, told about attractions in the area and repeated that he was available all the time for anything we might need. It continued from this wonderful place, from the design of the B&B, from the homely and authentic feeling and on the one hand so far and disconnected from reality. Exactly what we were looking for. Exceeds all expectations. Thank you for every moment! worth everything!

Exactly.. but exactly what we wanted

The actual experience does not always match what is shown on the website. In this case the experience was much more. From the first moment we arrived in Matata and met Aryeh and Inbal we realized that we got exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful wooden cabin, beautifully designed with an emphasis on the small details. A pampering jacuzzi, a wood-burning stove and all this in the center of a natural forest and in wonderful silence, but what upgrades the experience from any other B&B we've been to (and we've been to quite a few) is a heated spa pool adjacent to the cottage that once you enter you simply can't leave, especially with two glasses of wine, a view Magical and addictive and an air that I wish I could take home.

So you really don't need to hesitate anymore, just call Aria or Anabel (the nicest people you will meet) to coordinate and arrive.
