A bit about theB&B

The suite is designed in a Mediterranean style, influenced by France and Italy, and is located in an arched space with a high pergola surrounded by natural foliage, gardens and fish ponds.  The color palette includes sky blue in the living room, which combines wit the blue-green landscape seen through the wide windows.

The suite interior is of natural plaster in shades of cream; the walls have rounded corners for softness and refinement.  The high ceiling has asymmetric arches in an eastern style, and the light wood floor enhances the feeling of space.  In the mornings, the space is filled with soft, natural light, coming in from the wide glass doors facing the privateyard, harmonizing with the gentle colors of the suite.

During the night, this suite becomes a romantic, sensual love nest, with softl ighting,Turkish rugs, beautiful paintings and cushions.

The central space has a sofa on a stone platform, opposite a very large LCD screen, which is connected to a streamer and home entertainment system.  There's a fireplace for cold, winter days, and the kitchenette has an expresso machine and lovely ceramic dishes.  The charming dining table faces the yard.

The bathroom shower has a rain shower head, and there are tons of beauty creams for your pleasure.  The bed has two orthopedic mattresses and 100% cotton sheets.  There's a wide mirror, two closets for clothes and lots of space.

Each suite's private yard has a large, round Jacuzzi in a covered gazebo on a spacious deck with picnic table and comfortable chairs.  The garden includes river stones, and is at the edge of a thick forest.  Take a romantic stroll in lush, green, biblical nature, only a touch away.

The entrance to the suites is from the same area, so there is not really a private entrance, but the privacy is perfect in the suites' own courtyards.

In this magnificent complex containing three beautiful and stylish suites, as I am enveloped in a magical Mediterranean atmosphere, I contemplate the possibility that you will become intoxicated with love here. But not only that - also wine: a family winery and boutique wine cellar, located right below the suite complex, offer tastings and workshops guided by the owner, adding a unique and fascinating aspect to a "different" luxury romantic vacation.


Location and ambience

On the way to the entrance to Mitzpe Hila, I think it really doesn't matter what happens at Tamar and Geffen – I got my daily trip, and it's a great trip. I've never been to this beautiful place hidden in the woods above Nahal Kziv, and Tamar and Geffen is an excellent reason to come.

I park in a small area surrounded by vegetation and admire a Mediterranean-style khan building that blends in wonderfully with the landscape. Tamar, the hostess, comes out to meet me from her house, which is a few dozen meters away. She says that the building has 3 suites, but before she shows me them, she unexpectedly cuts to stairs that go down to the basement.

Almost immediately, the nose fills with the smell of wine. The light turns on and the wine kingdom of Tamar and her husband, Yaron, is revealed. There is a small boutique winery and a beautiful visitor center designed by Tamar. Inside vaulted alcoves rest hundreds of bottles of wine made by Yaron, and on the large table in the center is displayed a rare collection of antique wine openers. Tamar explains that she takes guests here straight from the car, and after my second glass I understand why – in my current state, everything just looks good.


What does the place include

The (almost identical) suites have vaulted ceilings, pleasant natural tones in the rough plaster, and excellent design touches (brought to you by Tamar, the host) that make all the difference. Loyalists of the individual cabins may have difficulty with the idea of one central structure, but the hosts were careful to avoid shared walls and gave each suite a private courtyard with warm water splashes and a grove that gives a feeling of being 'alone in the world.'

In the 1st cabin, there is a jacuzzi (not a spa) in the courtyard. In the "Galil" there is also a wooden hot tub, and in the Zir suite there is a sauna.

You should know

The boutique wine cellar offers wine tastings and workshops led by the owner. When you arrive, you will receive a guided tour of the winery including tastings (the winery is for guests of the khan only). Workshops can be held for up to 10 people by prior arrangement.

We left with a feeling of

The chance that you will end your visit to Tamar and Geffen not drunk is close to zero. And yes, I am actually talking about the cliché 'drunk with love'. And if not - then at least really drunk. Because when you are given unlimited house wine, all that is left is to nod, say thank you and get into the jacuzzi.

This is the second time I have stayed at this magical place and I am already planning the next time. A taste of more... that sums up the experience of staying in this very special place. And what makes it so begins with this extraordinary pair of hosts who feel that everything with them is done from the soul.... Continues to the B&Bs where everything is carefully selected and made and ends in the very pastoral place where the B&Bs are located. So a huge thank you for an accurate and perfect accommodation and there is no doubt that we will return again.

B&B for those who are tired of the stencil
We couldn't see any more pictures of cheap pine B&Bs, with red heart candles and colorful lights in the hot tub that transmit STDs, then we found this gem that looks even better in real life than the pictures here. The design is full of character and still relaxing and pleasant, a wild, spectacular and peaceful private garden with many sitting areas, each with its own charming character. We also came at a time when everything was blooming and it was absolutely perfect with primroses everywhere. Just like living in nature (a dream for the soot breathers that we are). Tami Viron welcomed us warmly and immediately took us to a wine tasting and a tour of their private and unique winery. Tammy's indulgent breakfasts really show how much she cares about her guests' enjoyment. really. Her salty cookies were eliminated within two hours of arrival, and when we buttered them the jar was immediately filled. Any question or request was immediately answered with a smile. Add to that a trip to Nahal Kaziv, which is within walking distance, and you have a perfect vacation.

A stunning and pampering experience!
We came to the Zimmer to celebrate my partner Eli's birthday, the experience as a whole was perfect and very pampering. The place is carefully designed down to the smallest details, the space is spacious and pleasant, the breakfast is delicious and generous and everything is made by Tami at home. We didn't want to leave the B&B. Just pure pleasure!!

pleasure!
Highly recommend Tamar and Gefen! We were in the amazing and luxurious Galil suite. Everything we wanted and could want was there, including many little surprises. Tami even considered the vegans among us :) Tami and Yron welcomed us warmly, the tour of the winery was very fascinating and we enjoyed every moment, there is no doubt that we will return there in the future. We stayed in a vineyard suite at Tamar and Gefen B&B. It was stunning!! Really perfect place. Fun, pampering and wholehearted hospitality. The design of the B&B is warm and cozy, relaxing and precise. It is evident thinking about everything down to the smallest detail. The breakfast was great, fresh, plentiful and varied.
