A large, unusual, diamond-shaped structure comes into view. A combination of nature and luxury, scenery and indulgences. From the giant Jacuzzi spa on the terrace one can look out over the wild landscape of the Golan Heights to an enchanting, panoramic view of the Sea of Galilee, to Arbel Cliff, which towers over you at the top of Mt. Tabor. One-of-a-kind, genuine hospitality from the heart. The Diamond Tree B&B vacation rental is the newest and most exclusive of the four vacation rentals at the beautiful Ashta'ar Ranch established on the settlement of Had Ness, in the Golan Heights.
Indeed, from the very first step on the deck made of solid pine wood, one discovers a Japanese garden combined with natural basalt stones that give it a Japanese look - an original Israeli land. The view stretching across is very hard to miss. The unique location of the Zimmer allows for a breathtaking view of the wild scenery of the Golan Heights that touches the magical panoramic view of the Kinneret, the towering Harbel Cliff and the Dome of the Tabor.
From the garden you can go up the wooden stairs to a beautiful balcony leading to a guest house built in a unique geodesic style, a style that "lives in harmony" with the natural environment and blends well with the wild landscape that surrounds the settlement.
Hence the name of the B&B. The wooden structure is made up of triangular triangles, which create a diamond appearance. The covering of the B&B with recycled "shingles", in a natural brown color, contributes to a look that blends in with the natural flow of the environment.
This connection to the natural environment is also related to the existence of "Moshavnikit in the blood" waves. Gali arrived with her partner Mai and her mother Bar in the northern settlement of Had-Nes, after the three were uprooted from a settlement in Sharon where they absorbed the connection to the earth and brought it to the "Diamond Tree", out of a high ecological awareness.
The feeling of freedom and indulgence already spreads in the outer part of the building, even before entering the B&B. The construction of a dry sauna will soon be completed, which will be located in the orchard outside the building and will certainly enhance this feeling. Apparently part of the charm of the pastoral vacation at the "Diamond Tree" also stems from the dominant smell of fresh wood that surrounds every corner and area of the complex built entirely of solid wood.
Plants have a central place in the lodge both as a contributor to the romantic atmosphere and as a natural isolation that helps create private niches for the guests. This is the reason why the compound is surrounded by a fence made of the bark of a precious eucalyptus trunk, which joins countless fruit trees, pots and a couple of well-kept planters, including different herbs and tea plants.
In all this greenery, there is a huge and luxurious jacuzzi located on the outdoor terrace, with colorful spots that color the water towards evening in alternating romantic shades.
"We enjoy all the worlds here," Gali says and adds: "On the one hand, the location of the outdoor jacuzzi allows for an excellent view of the landscape, and on the other hand, the location of the settlement of Had-Ness makes it possible to enjoy relatively pleasant weather even during the winter, which is even more beneficial for guests who wish to take a dip in the jacuzzi on the balcony."
The luxurious balcony of the Zimmer has a place of honor in the planning of the complex. Gali and May, spared nothing. Starting with luxurious furniture, in two seating areas: one near the jacuzzi - made up of two beautiful lounge chairs and a table, made of solid wood and the other - a round seating area, especially suitable for coffee or afternoon tea and consisting of chairs and a round table decorated entirely with ancient Chinese coins.
The full and dominant smell of wood continues to delight even when entering the large B&B. The resulting look is a warm and clean look to which is added a touch of luxury, which is achieved by means of an amazingly beautiful classic chandelier studded with real Swarovski crystal diamonds, which hangs in the center of the rounded ceiling and illuminates the room with precious light.
Attention is paid to the smallest details, starting with dimmers that allow control of the lighting intensity in the room space and ending with a spacious shower room, which has a shower with a huge rain head. Inside the room you will find another jacuzzi, which includes natural care products including pampering creams, bath salts, mud soaps and minerals.
The celebration of natural materials also continues to the double bed, which is made entirely of cast solid wood, with a huge orthopedic mattress embedded in it. And on top of everything are spread bright quality linens that radiate cleanliness and luxury.
In front of the spacious bed is a 32-inch LCD screen, with a home theater system and a DVD that supports disk on key, a function that will allow each guest to bring home their private movie, favorite music files and even photos...
In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast, made by the hosts: sheep's cheeses, organic goat's cheeses that taste especially refined and fine, country bread, salmon fish in cream cheese, plenty of raw vegetables, omelet (organic eggs of course), natural juice and homemade jams seasoned with lots of love powder.
Vacationing at the "Diamond Tree B&B" allows you to choose packages ("deals") that are combined with extreme activities, massages or tempting culinary attractions.
All these indulgences are joined by one central detail: an uncompromising sense of service. Gali and May never stop bothering and trying to improve the service and it turns out - there is nothing. Bar, Gali's mother, who owns "Ishtar Estate", is a person who is all about never-ending giving and when there is a mother like that, who never stops bothering and doing for, is it any wonder that the daughter also absorbed the warm attitude of hospitality from her mother?
"I want a guest to leave here not only with a feeling of satisfaction, but also with the feeling of having experienced something that is not found anywhere else, something unique" says Gali and indeed, the return of guests again and again is the clear indication that this is actually happening.
To sum up: an experience that definitely blends luxury immersed in endless natural beauty, alongside warm hospitality that comes from the depths. The "Diamond Tree" B&B in the settlement of Had-Ness is undoubtedly one of the "Hafsaga" diamonds.
