This view of the Galilee Mountains and the sea doesn't seem to belong in the updated urban interior design, so I went over and checked it out – it's not a Photoshop job, it's really what you see from the window. This place definitely has something to offer in terms of cozy space: Against a backdrop of light tones and clean modern design, I see a tiled four-poster bed, and in front of it a designer jacuzzi surrounded by windows... and outside: a private swimming pool for the spa suite.
Location and ambience
Several years ago, I left the center for the Galilee and very quickly realized that I now have a new role: I am the "friend in the north" that everyone relies on on Shabbat and holidays.
With no choice, I took up the gauntlet and planned a lovely northern trip for my Tel Aviv friends. Fifteen minutes into the trip, it became clear to me that 'lovely' is a matter of perspective. The expression on my city friend's face when she realized she had to wade through the water in 750 NIS Adidas shoes and get scratched by a few raspberries on the way made it clear to me that I had missed a bit. A bit much.
Apparently a vacation in the north is not just about wild nature, herbal tea on a gas stove, and root sandals. This token fell to me again at Villa Aviva in Kfar Vradim. Already in the parking lot, I realize that the north of Aviva is completely different – a large, stylish house instead of a creaky wooden cabin, a well-kept street instead of a remote dirt road.
I climb the stairs, past the guesthouse entrance and continue to the two suites above it. Aviva opens a door to an intimate stairwell and I climb after her. 'This is truly a boutique hotel,' I think to myself as I see the private swimming pool, on the lower level, and then she opens the doors to the suites: I've seen a lot of boutique hotels, but none have such a cozy space and such a view.
What does the place include
Each suite has a large, private, secluded balcony. The "North Suite" enjoys a large balcony with a private spa jacuzzi overlooking the view, and the other , the "Spa Suite," enjoys a spa jacuzzi on the balcony facing the hill, as well as an adjacent private pool. Both speak the same language: there is a dark floor, a kitchen with a stylish bar table for eating, and a large LCD screen that can adjust to the bed or the jacuzzi, but above all there is style. In every piece of furniture, every curtain, every picture, there is a thought and touch of someone who knows a thing or two about design.
By the way, a family or group can take the entire complex - that is, both suites for an optimal hospitality experience.
You should know
The complex is located in a residential neighborhood and nearby there is a center with shops and cafes. The settlement itself is an excellent starting point for a variety of attractions in the area.
We left with a feeling of
On the way out, as I descend the stairs, I notice a long, narrow window on the opposite wall, and the first thought that comes to mind is the Bauhaus style. And that's perhaps the story of this place – a kind of design and comfort that belongs in Tel Aviv, and all this in the middle of the Galilee.
