When I was a child I lived in a trawler for a year, and the truth is that I hated every moment. I didn't find myself among these tanned sea boys with burnt dreadlocks, I went crazy from the sand and no matter how hard I tried - I couldn't stand on a surfboard for more than a second. 30 years later I came to 'Ruch Yam' and came away with two conclusions:
1. I was a little sad child
2. It's really a shame to bring children to a place like this

It begins at the Yanai interchange, when I say goodbye to the traffic jams of Route 2. "Reuven schedules 45 minutes from Lily to Olga" they say in Galgaltz, and I think of the unfortunates who are just starting the journey to some northern B&B, while I am already parked on the edge of the dunes at the end of Makamorat - a meter from one of the fairest beaches in Israel...

"You came right on time", Bar - the young and cool hostess welcomes me, "I made a cake with an excellent feeling". She leads me to 2 non-standard wooden cabins, a large garden separates them and provides great privacy. "A 7-minute walk and you're at the beach," Bar says, pointing to a bug in the settlement's fence. I remember to keep 7 minutes and leave for the private outdoor areas of the cabins. There is grass, hammocks, sitting areas and everything you need to get into the atmosphere of a decent beach cabin (the shus - a sweet outdoor shower for those returning from the beach).

I climb the second step to a wide "thin" balcony and enter the living room that continues to radiate sea. A simple and beautiful 'marine-style' design combines shades of blue and elements of the sea with works by Janet - the owner of the place and an artist. (Did you like it? You can buy the works and also take a tour/ceramics workshop in the studio next door).

There is a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, a bedroom equipped with an LCD screen and a cute living room with stairs to another sleeping gallery - for the unlucky ones who didn't find an arrangement for the children...

One cabin has a jacuzzi, the other only a bathtub, but that's not the point here anyway. The section is the sea. In the heat of the summer or rather the super-romantic beach trips of the winter, the smell of the salt, the sound of the waves that you hear immediately when you turn off the car and the cabins specially designed for lovers of the big blue. When it happens so close to the center, you have to be a masochist to give it up.

Since I'm not a masochist, I'm going to call my dad now and tell him to give it up, give in to his whiny son and not stay here...
