A cabin full of character, in front of the pines
We liked it
the personal development of the hosts and the atmosphere created the approach to do everything by yourself using materials from nature the closeness to nature
We noticed that
The double bed is a Jewish bed (which can be separated into two beds)
It takes a lot of imagination to see in wooden surfaces, branches, stones and rocks from nature their true potential. Finny, a guy full of creativity, imagination and golden hands, turned all these natural and simple raw materials into a cabin full of character, close to nature and with a real country atmosphere.
Location and ambience
A balcony made of wood, handmade design details and eclectic furniture create a rural atmosphere "of the past" in a B&B that is well connected to nature. It feels very authentic and cohesive. The unit's private balcony faces a large lawn (about 100 square meters) and has complete privacy, olive trees, flowers, a spice garden and if you're lucky you can also pick vegetables from the garden (seasonal).
The complex is located at the edge of the settlement in a relatively open area surrounded by pine trees, and with a lot of quiet as from every corner you can see the view of Mount Miron. The complex offers one unit (the other is under construction). The guest house is located some distance from the cabin and in the back of the area and is slightly noticeable only in the pool area. In Moshav Sasupa, people make a living mainly from tourism and agriculture, and not far from the B&B there is a small packing house where you can buy fruits that have just been picked in season, such as cherries, nectarines and peaches.
What does the place include
The cabin is full of character, beauty and uniqueness, everything was built by Finney with the help of creative friends from raw materials that were accessible to him and which he processed and adapted to the cabin. You can see self-built furniture, a railing made of oak branches that Finny collected from nature, a polished wooden floor and many windows of different shapes and sizes, with each window showing a different landscape like a painterly collage. Really, there is attention here to every smallest detail and everything together radiates such a pleasantness that penetrates inside and warms.
The cabin space is relatively spacious and has a double bed, a TV, a kitchenette that allows light cooking, a coffee machine, a dining table, a wardrobe and a bathroom with a jacuzzi for one person. Stairs lead to a gallery floor (additional sleeping space) with a window in the ceiling that overlooks the stars. Behind the cabin there is a private swimming pool made of Intex and located on a "shallow".
You should know
- There are a variety of hiking itineraries to popular destinations in Judaism:
- A hiking route through a lovely forest that reaches Rabbi Shimon's tomb
- Mikve Mi Maayan Shemaya and Abtalion - 10 minutes walk from the B&B
It is possible to order in advance for Saturday morning a pot of soup with fine meat, rice, legumes and all good things and a variety of homemade final dishes
You can order a bottle of local wine for an additional fee
We left with a feeling of
It has an excellent location, a magical atmosphere and lots of silence. With a little additional investment, the level of indulgence can be improved, but there is no doubt that in relation to the price, this is an excellent value.

A relaxing and magical vacation
The B&B is located in a charming settlement surrounded by greenery, where privacy is felt. The cabin itself is made entirely of wood, in blue and white colors which contributes to the relaxing atmosphere and magical experience. The B&B is equipped with kitchen utensils, a cozy jacuzzi fireplace and a TV with Netflix which was pleasant for us on a rainy day. The settlement has an excellent cafe. The place is clean and maintained. fun Fun Fun. highly recommend!

Stamp what we wanted!
We didn't want to leave! Everything was so pleasant and lovely. The construction of the place is beautiful starting from the garden and the pool and the cabin itself. Everything is very clean and the hosts are charming and attentive. A fun and relaxed vacation as we wanted. Really worth it! Plus - fifteen minutes drive from Nahal Amud, a track with lots of shade and pools you can enter

About the hosts
Finney and Hanna, 40+ years old, hosts since 2017, are peaceful and pleasant people. It took them five years to collect and process all the raw materials and build the cabin until they were hosted for the first time. Hana told me that for them, hospitality is an opportunity to meet people, connect and give, love and make people happy. The hosts observe Shabbat, so on Shabbat they are not available by phone, but they are available for any request if you drop by their house (2 minutes from the cabin).
