When you finish being pampered in the spacious and luxuriously designed suites (Gadi is an architect), and taste Zohar's home-cooked delicacies, you can stroll towards the nearby wadi and enter the "Spring" conservation area surrounding the complex. Flowing water (throughout most of the year), quiet, the chirping of birds and tall poplar trees will accompany you on your vacation here. Surprising B&B vacation rentals with a verdant, panoramic and private view.
Imagine a sunny winter morning. You are sitting at a table full of homely delicacies, to your right is a colorful rockery, embroidered with flowers in the many colors of the rainbow, a pleasant breeze lightly caresses your face.
After a long stare to the south, towards a green and endless landscape, you get up, walk delicately along a short path and find yourself next to a stream. An arched wooden bridge was built over the river bed, and sitting and relaxing areas. And so, in the shade of tall poplar trees with fall leaves lining their base, you can't believe your good luck and that there is even a place like this in the country.
Sound far-fetched? Not really.
At Gadi and Zahar Rubinshtein in Metula, you will find exactly two such units.
Gadi, a veteran architect in his profession, has already designed many vacation units in the area. Recently, Gadi decided to make his home and designed two magical and private units, located one level above the wadi and below the host's house while creating perfect privacy.
Zohar, a teacher by profession and a host at heart, is the living spirit. She is the housekeeper, the cook, the baker and the host.
Hence the name of the B&B: "The House of Zohar"
Zohar's house is at the entrance to Metula, next to the spring park, overlooking the spectacular scenery of the Hula Valley and the Golan Mountains.
The couple made a long journey, from Kfar Blum originally, until they brought their dream, from strength to action.
The units are designed in a slightly different way, as a result of Gadi's many years of experience in designing vacation units. A quality architectural touch is evident in the place.
A few examples: the design of the house takes into account the direction of the sun, so in the morning it is shaded and pleasant outside even in the summer. The architectural touch is also evident in the interior design. A massive sliding door separates the living space from the sleeping space. Each unit has two balconies and not one: one balcony is intended for a magical breakfast and the other for lounging in comfortable chairs, when leaving the bedroom. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a heated anti-steam mirror and a hair dryer, which bring a "hotel hotel" standard to B&Bs.
The units are very comfortable: the bedroom has a large double bed, a huge jacuzzi sunken into the floor and overlooks a spectacular view, a pleasant parquet floor, cable TV + DVD, a living room with an intimate double seating area, a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee corner), a spacious and equipped bathroom and shower (towels, toiletries and more...) Of course, the units are equipped with full air conditioning.
The units - located in front of a breathtaking green view - are equipped with one-way "mirror" windows, framed in high-quality ironwork, so that you can wade in the jacuzzi and look at the view, without fear of privacy.
The view changes from window to window: from the poplar grove - in the channel leading to Nahal Eyon where the water recedes (between November and May) - to an open view of the Hula Valley and the Golan.
In the garden, next to the units and beyond the deck with the deck chairs - green grass that is pleasing to the eye. The garden is full of fruit trees: red grapefruit, lemon, Chinese oranges, apricot, plum, pomegranate and herbs: sage, lavender and more.
A 21-inch TV (no home theater system) will pass the time, with HOT DVDs and movies. The assumption is that you will prefer the nearby stream.
The breakfasts served to Lich are highly recommended and for a small fee you can upgrade to brunch.
There are also plenty of attractions in the area (although you probably won't want to leave the complex): starting from the Canada Center with the ice skating rink, through restaurants and galleries, jeep tours, ATVs, kayaking in Jordan, a trip to nearby Hermon and nature reserves (the oven) for a lot. You should consult Zohar.
In conclusion: Zohar and Capricorn infuse a relaxed and unmediated atmosphere. The units designed by Gadi are comfortable, high-quality and inviting, but the icing on the cake here is the view of the Nahal channel between the poplar trees and the immediacy of the almost private nature reserve. A rare complex in its location.
What’s on the site?
No words can describe all this goodness.
The guest house is wide and spacious, extremely clean, pampering in all the little things, the jacuzzi is huge and pleasant and the view is breathtaking.
The breakfast is amazing and Zohar and Gedi are very charming.
We travel to a lot of zimmers and this zimmer is a top candidate for first place.
We also ordered a massage for the lodge (ask for the masseuse Raz) and it was great
Zohar's room provides calm and peace for rest and decisive relaxation.
Privacy and merging with nature are for us the perfect vacation and this is what this room provided us - 4 days of pleasure, rest and relaxation.
The breakfasts are the meals of kings.
Zohar and Gadi know exactly what is needed to make the vacation so pleasant and enjoyable and provide everything in just the right measure.
The room is clean, equipped and well maintained and the stay there is very pleasant.
We stayed for one night, and were happy to see an example of "truth in advertising" - we enjoyed everything very much - the room is modern, clean and well maintained, the silence is magical and the breakfast is wonderful.
We stayed at Zohar's for one night between April 17 and 18 and it was wonderful, Zohar hosted us wonderfully. She explained everything to us, what we can do in the area, where we should go and which restaurants are recommended.
The B&B is equipped with everything you need, we didn't lack anything! And even if so Zohar gives the feeling that you can ask for anything :)
When we arrived, an amazing apple crumble was waiting for us that Zohar had prepared :) A fun place where you can pamper yourself!
The breakfast was extremely indulgent, just a real treat.
