warm recommendation
We were an extended family for Friday and Saturday, 3 couples. 4 children including babies and a puppy... We took the whole complex - 3 spacious apartments in beautiful stone houses, around a pool as well as an indoor stream pool. In the complex, a semi-open and air-conditioned kitchen. Perfect privacy. The children in the water. There is no need to leave the compound in the heat of August. Quality family time. Itamar the host is pleasant and responds quickly to various requests. Relative to the accommodation complexes we have seen - at the highest level.

Location and ambience

Unlike most of the well-known accommodations in Safed, Monroe Suites are not located on crowded streets, or in a dead-end alley - on the contrary: Sela occupied a large and charming piece of land on Mount Canaan, in the village of Biriya, which lies just above Safed.

The entrance to the compound is hidden, with complete privacy, at the end of a dirt road (which Sela paved himself). Even the Wiz doesn't know this point: when I asked him what to write in the Wiz to get there, he told me "wait for me at the nearest intersection, I'll be arriving in a moment and follow me".

The complex has three suites built over an old water well (which still exists) and on the lower level of the courtyard. On the upper level, the host's house is located, which is hardly noticeable at all.

The three suites surround an impressive heated swimming pool, so the balconies face the public area. Due to the nature of the concept, excess privacy is not created on the balconies, but rather a feeling of being a part of what is happening in the complex.

In addition to the shared pool, there is also an outdoor kitchenette adjacent to the barbecue corner and a large dining table so that three couples who come together can easily eat together.


What does the place include

The suites are pleasant, designed in a modern style and equipped in the same way: a double bed, a dresser, a TV, a double jacuzzi and a shower in the bathroom. The differences between the suites are slight:

The "Argman" suite is the largest of the three (54 square meters) and contains an additional bedroom with a relatively small bed (a bed and a half). The "Muscat" suite offers a size of 40 square meters and the "Shiraz" suite is only 30 square meters. .

Excellent location near attractions, travel routes and places of entertainment. Consult the host.

The "Monroe Suites" complex offers tailor-made accommodation for two or three couples of friends, who will find themselves well taken care of by a friendly and available host. The accommodation is carried out in a pleasant and quiet environment, very close to a variety of attractions, restaurants and itineraries suitable for this type of vacation, which give the place value A lot of extras.

Must come!
Amazing suite, designed clean and equipped, breathtaking view. Itamar is an amazing person! He provides a very high level of service. He recommended restaurants in the area and gave a very pleasant feeling. On Friday evening it started to snow, Itamar moved our car to a place that was easier to leave with, and on Saturday morning when we were ready to leave, he arrived with a 4x4 vehicle and took us to our car. He took care of clearing the snow from the car for us (even though he really didn't have to) and so we set off back home without any delays! There's no doubt at all that we'll be back, we haven't used the pool yet :) Thank you very much!!!

A perfect vacation. We will definitely be back!
We were 2 families with children + grandmother so the place was just ours. The place is maintained and spotlessly clean. The pool is heated and pleasant and the jacuzzi is huge and surprising. The charming hosts Itamar and Sela did not stop showering treats and answered our every request. Excellent value for the price!

A fun and perfect vacation

Beyond what was expected
We arrived at the Zimmer and another couple of friends stayed in the winter. There was light refreshments and the B&B looked exactly like in the pictures, clean and tidy. The owner of the B&B was charming and responded to everything. We did there on the fire and the place there was closed and covered with air conditioning. In the morning we went for a horse ride nearby, highly recommended
