A bit about the

A path surrounded by foliage leads to the two, identical, distant wood cabins on the side of a mountain, in the midst of a natural forest.  Each cabin has a wide wooden deck with pergula covering, in direct line with the view.  On the deck - comfortable chairs, a picnic table for breakfast, and tons of breathing space.

Inside - it's spacious and beautiful - the living room and bedroom with Jacuzzi are separated by a sliding curtain.  In the center of the room is a sofa set, a coffee table and rattan armchair, next to a large window.  On the other side of the room, a dining area and country kitchen with plenty of goodies for home cooking.

The interior space includes a large wood bed with colorful mosquito netting, a found Jacuzzi on a wooden platform surrounded by windows, a mirror and cupboard, an LCD tv screen that rotates from the living room to the bed.

Not a lot of stairs like in other places in Matath, but still the access is not the most convenient for those who have difficulty walking

In one of the best locations (even if there were only a tent there, we would consider entering them in the HaPisga Guide) on the mountainside at Mettet, with green forest spread out all around you, are two enchanting and luxurious, secluded wood cabins with a panoramic view.  The privacy will allow you full nudity on the terrace.  A fireplace and an indoor Jacuzzi  with a spectacular view ofthe entire region are only a few of the luxuries here…

Location and ambience

"The End of the Road" - is a B&B complex with two isolated wooden cabins located in one of the most beautiful and unique settlements in our country - Matat, known and loved for its rich and unspoiled nature, the wonderful silence and the endless views spread out everywhere.

"The end of the road" offers an abundance of beauty, silence and privacy, so the name of the complex has a double meaning to me - beyond the allusion to its remote and isolated geographical location, it can also be interpreted as a commendation (with an invisible exclamation mark). The atmosphere of a "lonely island" that prevails here is created thanks to the old forests that surround the complex, the Galilee mountains that fill the far horizon, the silence that is disturbed only by the chirping of the birds and the complete privacy (you can sit naked on the balcony without fear of exposure).

There is a relatively close parking lot that was built on the level of the guest house so that the access to the cabins is relatively easy and there are not many steps to go down like in most places in Matat.


What does the place include

Two identical wooden cabins "sit" some distance from each other on the side of a mountain and look out unhindered into the open landscape. To get here, you have to go through an access path that winds through a natural forest. On the way you see a wooden structure with a dry sauna facility, shared by the guests of both cabins.

Each unit has a wide balcony equipped with a variety of seating areas for observing the view. Inside - a rustic, graceful and intimate atmosphere. The cabin is divided into a central space and the sleeping area and jacuzzi, both of which are well lit and ventilated thanks to the abundance of large windows. The wood that wraps the cabin is the central element in the design. The colors are neutral, not stressful, relax the eye. Many lighting fixtures, correctly distributed, give the space a soft and romantic light.

A wood-burning fireplace is located in the corner, in the wooden dresser interesting books, movies and games await guests. In a separate space - a larger than usual round jacuzzi located next to the bed and surrounded by windows for a view.


You should know

The host Eyal is a tour guide and will direct you to the most worthwhile places around. Many of the treats at the place are prepared by the hosts themselves (jams, etc.) from locally grown produce and they have an ecological approach - this is also noticeable in the cabins.

We left with a feeling of

"The End of the Road" is a classic B&B, as a quality wooden cabin should be: a B&B blessed with spectacular nature, a breathtaking view, peace and complete privacy. But beyond that - it has an inexplicable charm, which causes the great reputation that has accumulated here over the years.

Quiet, cozy and pampering
A simply lovely place, generous hosts, a well-equipped and beautiful cabin in front of an amazing view and endless silence. Everything was clean, simple and inviting, a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to cook comfortably. We enjoyed every moment, feeling that every detail was thought of to make the experience magical and pleasant.

A beautiful and clean wooden cabin! Perfect view and treats
A comfortable balcony with caneras and bar stools in front of the view, a perfect place to eat breakfast that was ordered to the lodge. The cabin itself is equipped to a precise level down to the smallest detail! Nothing is missing, you can see that they thought of everything!! Amazing treats that awaited us, jams, homemade cherry alcohol drinks, chocolates, and a well-equipped and clean kitchen. It was amazing in the jacuzzi in front of the view and the sense of calm that comes from the isolation of the southern cabin
