אחת הקלישאות הנפוצות בשיחת קיטורים ישראלית טיפוסית היא: "זה לא מה שהיה פעם!" תוסיפו לזה אנחת יאוש פולנית בסגנון: "אאאאאח..." ומיד עובר המסר שפעם היה פשוט נפלא, ושהיום נורא ואיום.
אז לפני שאתם מתחילים להתגעגע לתש"ח ולקטר על הנוער או יוקר המחיה, תרשו לי להפנות אתכם לספרי ההיסטוריה. תפתחו בפרק על החלוצים ותיזכרו ש"פעם" אנשים ייבשו פה ביצות, התקלחו פעם בחודש וחטפו עקיצות מיתושים בגודל של סמי טריילר. היום? תקפצו לאחוזת ליון ביסוד המעלה ותראו איך נראים בתי החלוצים ב-2014. רמז: לא תתגעגעו למה שהיה פעם...
המתחם מחולק ל-2: מבנה דו קומתי ("הוילה") ומבנה חד קומתי ("הסוויטות"). יוסי – המארח המקסים- פוגש אותי במתחם גדול, מוקף חומה, בלב המושבה הותיקה ששכנה פעם בלב הביצות והיום נראה אתכם משיגים בה מגרש. "זה הבית הדו קומתי הראשון בישוב" הוא מספר לי. הוא מדבר על הוילה, מבנה אבן מרשים מהמאה ה-19 שבכל אחת מקומותיו 3 חדרי שינה זוגיים, מטבח מאובזר וסלון (לכל קומה כניסה נפרדת - וניתן לשכור כל קומה בנפרד).
מסביב גן מטופח עם ניחוח קולוניאלי ובו מזרקה יפה שהמים זורמים ממנה לבריכת נוי ירוקה. יש פה ג'קוזי ספא גדול משותף לאורחי הוילה, יש פינות ישיבה מוצלות ושקטות, ואין בית של מארחים (גרים באזור אחר במושבה).

Get away immediately. We arrived about 25 people for a family celebration and like everyone else we were also very impressed by the pictures on the various websites but unfortunately the reality is very different!!! Poor maintenance: clogged sinks, air conditioners that don't work, broken walls, jet black from dirt, stained bedding and dishes with leftover food and grease. Broken door handles and ants in the rooms. Yossi, the owner of the place, is not a nice person to say the least who claimed that the place is before renovation... so why bring people to such a place... We do not have high standards but cleanliness and maintenance are very basic standards considering that you pay NIS 12,000 per weekend. Stay away like fire- Big disappointment All that being said there are pictures illustrating the poor maintenance.

disappointing
It was very disappointing, when we arrived we were informed that it was allowed to use some of the facilities in the place, power outages, lack of equipment. Lack of proportion between the price and the experience on the spot. The pictures do not reflect the current situation.
