A historical dream in the heart of the Old City
A complex of three suites housed in an ancient stone building, providing an authentic experience with historical touches on the one hand, and five-star boutique hospitality on the other. Bonus: There's plenty to do in the area
We walk through the alleys of Old Acre - the atmosphere here is special and feels closest to abroad. The entrance to the Alma complex is right here, in the beating heart of the historic city. We enter a large stone building, and discover a beautiful complex with an inviting patio and three separate entrances to Alma's suites. The staircase that stands in front of us in the center of the complex surprisingly leads to the house of neighbors who live right above the suites, so silence must be maintained here after 10:00 PM.
Jasmine, the Knights Suite and the Sultana - three boutique suites designed and identical in their area, which share a common outdoor area. The Knights and Sultana Suites are designed to accommodate up to 4 guests and the Jasmine Suite is perfect for couples. The design here is colorful, and tells the story of the place by combining Crusader and Ottoman motifs - high ceilings, arches, white walls, painted floors and authentic design items.
Those who like to feel like a local on vacation will enjoy subtle flavors of the city's history and its general vibe here.
All suites are equipped in the same way, the only difference between them being in the design touches and the division of space. In all of them you will find an extra large bed, a spacious and beautiful bathroom, a seating area with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette and a dining table.
There is a connecting door between the Jasmine Suites and the Knights Suite, so if you are staying in the units with family or friends - it is certainly possible to turn them into one unit.
Smoking is not allowed in the complex.
There is no hot tub or pool here.
Acre's market, the ancient walls, the Baha'i Temple, the Crusader fortress, and other entertainment and culinary venues are just a short walk away.
We went back in time with just a 2021 hospitality experience. The place is sweet, clean and very cozy, exceptionally well-equipped and gives an incredible feeling of non-banal freedom.
