Canceling orders for a person with a disability, a senior citizen, or a new immigrant:
A person booking accommodation who is a person with a disability as this term is defined in the Law on Equal Rights for People with Disabilities,
1988-1988, a senior citizen (those who have reached 65 years of age) or a new immigrant (who has not yet passed five years from the date he was issued an immigrant certificate or a certificate of eligibility as an immigrant from the Ministry of Aliyah and Absorption), may cancel an invitation if all the conditions listed below are met:
- The cancellation of the order is made within four months from the date of execution of the transaction or from the date of receipt of the transaction details document, provided that there are more than 7 non-rest days remaining until the date of accommodation and that the conclusion of the transaction included a conversation between the trader and the consumer, including a conversation through electronic communication. In the case of cancellation as mentioned in this section, the customer will be charged a cancellation fee of NIS 100 (one hundred) or 5% (five percent) of the value of the order, whichever is lower.
- If a cancellation is made by an accommodation guest who belongs to one of the populations listed in this section, the guest will attach to the cancellation notice a reference (using one of the means mentioned above) that he is a member of one of the above populations, in accordance with what is detailed in the Consumer Protection Law.
Cancellation fees (except for holidays and special events):
- In the event of a cancellation made within 14 days from the date of placing the order or from the date of receipt of the transaction details document (whichever is later) and the date of cancellation does not apply within 7 days prior to the date of accommodation, the guest will be charged a cancellation fee of NIS 100 (one hundred) or 5% (five percent ) of the value of the order, whichever is the lowest.
- With regard to the reservation as stated in Section 1 above, in the event of a cancellation made after 14 days from the date of placing the reservation or from the date of receipt of the reservation details document (whichever is later) and the date of cancellation does not apply within 7 days prior to the date of accommodation, the guest will be charged a cancellation fee of 100 (one hundred) NIS .
- With regard to the reservation as stated in Section 1 above, in the event that the cancellation date falls within 7 days prior to the date of accommodation, the guest will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% (one hundred percent) of the reservation value (regardless of the period of time that has passed since the reservation was made).
- With regard to the reservation as stated in section 1 above, in the event of failure to arrive at the hotel without a cancellation notice, the guest will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% (one hundred percent) of the value of the reservation.
