With the plethora of B&B vacation rentals in Rosh Pina, this Schwartzimmery complex stands out for its history, quality of hospitality, love for people, humor, warm approach and heartwarming welcome of each visitor. Reb Alter Schwartz, who owned the first hotel in the Gaililee, would have been proud of his sixth generation of descendents in Rosh Pina. These special components will make a holiday here a rare commodity in the local scenery.
Location and ambience
The complex contains two romantic and pleasant B&Bs - "The Blue Suite" and "The Brown Suite". These B&Bs boast thick walls of local stone and colorful Belgian windows. The complex has a completely separate access road. By the way, the fact that they thought about the disabled public here and the access to a wheelchair is very convenient: there are no stairs, the doors and keys are particularly wide and meet the standard, the shower door is wide, there is an internal space and there is no accumulation of unnecessary objects in the room, well done!
The suites overlook a green and well-kept garden, which is studded with diverse vegetation. In the evening, romantic lighting illuminates the basalt paths, which were paved from the family's agricultural plots. We pass along geranium bushes, bougainvillea, rosemary, lavender, roses, cyclamen, special cacti, herbs and other species of plants whose names I do not know and look towards an amazing view of the Hula, the Golan Heights and Hermon.
The blue suite is more hidden and remote, and offers more privacy.
What does the place include
The interior of the suites is meticulous and original, just like the exterior: fine furniture, the heads of the Belgian windows are made of railway slats, the oriental furniture is authentic and renovated. Adding to the atmosphere is the family story that is framed and displayed proudly on the walls, photos and art objects, made by family members for generations, a massive fireplace with smut bricks, soft Afghan carpets and more.
The windows are double glazed for thermal insulation purposes. There is a pampering jacuzzi, flowers, a bottle of wine and lighted candles.
You should know
On the table is the delicacy of a basket of fresh fruit, straight from the Schwartzmans' orchards, (or from the yard) the rich breakfast is served with lots of personal attention, a smile and humor, in Tami's way. After the meal you can organize jeep trips, Tomkar tours, Rosh Pina tours and other attractions - check with the hosts.
We left with a feeling of
So not only Rabbi Alter Schwartz would have found this hospitality experience worthy - but so would we. In the tireless equipment race, the winners are precisely those who offer pleasant hospitality, with love for the profession and a warm attitude. Add to this B&Bs with a decoration full of character and you will get a very attractive package to stay while traveling in this beautiful colony and its surroundings.
