Nahal Heroe Farm - your desert experience

The choice of the isolated settlement "Shepherd's Creek Farm" (shepherd with a pinch, i.e. a woman) is natural. The place, managed by Yara and Avi Sargosti, is a kind of breakthrough for the culture of lodging on farms in the south. To date, a desert vacation has offered us a lot of peace and a lot of scenery.

The two "Shepherd Creek Farm" suites take advantage of the rare qualities of the desert and add the advantages of a luxury lodge: spectacular interior design, maximum comfort, a luxurious atmosphere and lots and lots of pampering. In addition to all these, the guests of the "Tana" suite will enjoy a private heated swimming pool and a cinema room, located inside the zimmer. It is important to note (from the beginning) that the travel time to the zimmer from the center of the country is a total of two hours, so it is not an impossible task..

Well, imagine for yourself: in the Negev plateau, in front of an endless view towards pristine and peaceful nature... golden expanses with touches of green... silence. Here, in the middle of nowhere, at the very end of the world, is God's little plot (which for some reason brings to mind the book "The Little Prince") - two beautiful stone buildings built of unique flint, isolated and far from each other, housing original and surprising suites.
You will, of course, have to leave the cars in the parking area about 70 meters away from the B&Bs and walk along a gravel path (there is night lighting, if you arrive late).


The Tana Suite, one of the two identical suites, boasts impressive accessories, which include a heated swimming pool in the private and large yard and a private movie screening room within the B&B itself.
The foyer to the suites is a large shade shed under which is a round mosaic table with two convertible chairs. Under the shed hangs a hammock that promises many moments of pleasure for the indulgent couple. The mesmerizing view of Nahal Roa penetrates inside, into the suites, through the eastern wall which is actually a huge Belgian window.

The construction here is ecological and this is expressed, among other things, in the unique shape of the buildings themselves, which allows for complete integration with the features of the landscape - the "tail" is dug into the ground and the front protrudes outward. The building materials are also environmentally friendly and the buildings are made of local materials. These are stones taken right from the surface of the earth here, so each stone has its own shape and character...

Another ecological quality of the building - special insulation that allows maintaining a stable temperature and this means that it will be cool here in the summer and pleasant in the winter. The floor, which resembles a marble floor, is also built with a unique technology and maintains coolness and a pleasant touch on hot summer days.

The spacious space of the suites is designed in a minimalist style influenced by the cleanliness of the mirrors outside. Quality solid wood furniture was built by special order and includes a pleasant dining area, a living room table (on which a bowl of seasonal fruit awaits guests) and a massive, wide and incredibly comfortable bed.

A white fabric sofa in a modern style, located in front of the view, combines with white curtains, which are a striking contrast to the brown-gold tones that dominate the room. Needless to say, you won't find a TV here (excellent!) but there is plenty of good music - in addition to a high-quality audio system, a variety of excellent CDs await you here for especially romantic moments.

At your service is a kitchen equipped with a microwave, electric kettle, toaster, mini bar fridge with soft/spicy drinks, chocolates, cheeses, crackers and other surprises.

A large jacuzzi bath is in a spacious and well-designed bathroom, ready and waiting to refresh you at all hours of the day.

And to stimulate the taste buds of the breakfast, I will mention the local dairy where Avi and Hiera produce fine handmade goat cheeses.

In conclusion:

It is fitting for the summit guide to honor the "Shepherd Creek Ranch" (ask the hosts about the origin of the interesting name) as the first hospitality complex presented in the southern region. There is no doubt that the "Vine" and "Tana" suites will change everything you thought about a desert vacation. You are invited to a luxurious stay that is accompanied, from the moment of booking, by courteous and warm service.
