Biktapuz

One of the least pleasant things about being a B&B visitor is the monotony. Before you say 'what audacity he has to complain about such a profession', try to imagine how you would feel in the 74th jacuzzi you see or in another country cabin that looks like a stamp, but a stamp like the previous 30... 'Why do the same???' I ask myself. Why not build some crazy house on a tree or something?' Apparently Meir from 'Biketfoz' heard my thoughts. Otherwise, how do you explain the two cabins he built at a height of 6 meters above the treetops in Liman?!

I enter Liman, which is a 3-5 d drive from the beaches of Achziv and Betz Hipi, and go down the street to a road that enters a green and well-maintained complex. Meir meets me among the citrus trees that fill the place and remind me of the orchard that stood here. His handshake breaks at least one bone in me and makes it clear who took care of this orchard... He shows me a large swimming pool (shared with the complex) and is proud of a large designed tent that is also used for meals. Oh, and there are also B&Bs here. Six to be exact, but above all two stand out and we recommend them. And when I say 'above all', I mean it literally.

The complex also includes 4 additional suites built on the ground. There is a shared pool complex with a sauna and spa jacuzzi, as well as a large and well-designed tent that can be used for breakfasts or events.

In the vast interior space of the 'Hadarim' suite you can find a large jacuzzi, a sauna, a private cinema screen, a double shower and a huge round bed, all with Thai touches and a super-invested design. There is also a beautiful balcony that speaks in the same style.

The adjacent Bikatfoz suite also benefits from the height advantage. It is built of wood and is slightly less luxurious than its sister, but makes up for it with an open view of the adjacent banana plantation and the sunsets to the west (which are excellent from the jacuzzi next to the large window).

I take one last look at the view from a height of 6 meters and say goodbye to Meir (not before he crushes another bone with his farmer's press). On the stairs, I think the only problem with this height experience is that at the end you have to go back down to the ground...
