Softness and comfort in the wild Golan Heights environment
Quiet in the Cloud is a true corner of delight in a winning location at the edge of the moshav, overlooking the entire Sea of Galilee, surrounded by vines and an intoxicating view.
Quiet in the Cloud is located in the pastoral Moshav Ma'ale Gamla, in the western Golan Heights, with a scenic view. For us, this is the kind of place where you can stay the entire vacation in a B&B and never leave at all, because the feeling here is that nature comes right up to you, but if you go out - you discover wonderful worlds, as the famous book says.
Quiet in the Cloud is a classic cabin in the best sense of the word. A wonderful log cabin with complete privacy, a spacious and blooming outdoor space, and an open, wide, and colorful view.
"Quiet in the Clouds" – this is not only the name of the rustic wooden cabins in the Ma'ale Gamla settlement. "Quiet in the Clouds" – it is also a metaphorical but incredibly accurate description of the atmosphere prevailing in the complex.
The yard of each unit offers a balcony open to the view, with lounge chairs, a large spa jacuzzi overlooking the view (the temperature is your choice, up to 40 degrees!), a FIRE PIT for campfire lovers, a large lawn in the private yard, and next to it a garden of fragrant herbs.
Here you can gaze at the distant horizon peeking over the Sea of Galilee, which is bathed in a soft, golden light at sunset. The mesmerizing picture changes every moment and only becomes more beautiful the more the eye devotes itself to the view. While your eyes will celebrate the magnificent beauty of the place, your ears will enjoy the heavenly silence, interrupted only by the sounds of nature.
The wooden cabins on site are in a rustic European style, and they are full of grace and authenticity - they have recently undergone renovation and renewal and we came to be impressed by their renewed beauty. The space of each unit is built as an open space with a wall of windows and a door to the view. Thanks to the wooden walls, which are painted in light cream with a bluish tint, the space looks larger, brighter and more airy. The ceiling is high and highlighted by a large and impressive light fixture.
A variety of curtains adorn the windows, some used to darken the room and some light and airy, giving a romantic feel. Stained glass and ironwork combine with rustic wooden furniture to create a pastoral yet contemporary, youthful and spring-like atmosphere.
Privacy here is paramount. Each cabin has its own private parking, and from there - direct access to the cabin. A massive wardrobe stands at the entrance to the cabin, with enough space to store clothes and equipment. Opposite it is a fully equipped kitchenette for cooking, with new appliances and kitchen utensils, and a luxurious BEANZ coffee machine. A cozy double dining area where you can dine is located next to the kitchen.
Next is the double bed, in the "Edith" cabin the bed is queen-size (160 cm wide) and in the "Eva" cabin it is 140 cm wide. Both beds have been renovated with high-quality mattresses and soft bedding. Next to the bed hangs a large mirror with a porcelain frame and wall lamps for romantic lighting. A 65-inch smart TV with a connection to Yes and Netflix hangs on the wall.
Each cabin has a bathroom with a luxurious rain shower. In addition to air conditioning, there is also a gas stove for use in the winter, for a warmer and more special atmosphere.
The "cherry blossom" of the cabin is of course the large, round indoor jacuzzi located in an intimate niche near the window overlooking the view, for full enjoyment of the nature outside. Next to the jacuzzi stands an elegant, galvanized metal bench and a round coffee table in a matching design.
There is an option to order breakfast and dinner here for an additional fee.
There are hosts here who care deeply about the hospitality experience, and they are constantly attentive to every detail. "Quiet in the Cloud" is a place to rest, stare, and relax. The view and atmosphere here recharge both the physical and mental batteries.
What’s on the site?
Miki, the owner of the B&B, is not obtrusive and available all the time. The pictures don't lie, to be honest I was amazed to find out that the B&B is even more beautiful than the pictures on the website.
The refreshments and treats change from time to time: fresh fruit, milk in the fridge, hot and varied drinks, soda.
Spa treats - bath foam, scented soaps, shampoo, candles and robes.
