Location and ambience
The compound - cut off from the outside world
At the entrance to the compound there is a gate, which cuts off those entering from the outside world. From the very first glance, the guests discover a careful and well-maintained outdoor area, which includes an orchard, green lawns, floral ornamental gardens, gardens and spices, and lovely corners overlooking the landscape. The complex is designed so that each of the cabins has a yard that belongs to it, with a private swimming pool and sleeps with complete privacy - an important "asset" for those looking for solitude.
Opposite, stands the accommodation villa which is actually a residential building that has been well renovated and converted into accommodation. This structure transmits something very pleasant and homely, in contrast to quite a few alienated and cold accommodation villas that we got to see.
As mentioned, the peace and quiet make the place particularly calm and quiet. From time to time the sounds of the village penetrate the compound, so if you hear chickens croaking - this is part of the charm. Dana, the pleasant and smiling hostess of the Zimmer, takes me for a walk through the paths of the spectacular garden, points out spice gardens and details the names of the tea plants that grow in them. "It took us a long time to design and set up the fair," the hostess tells me, in response to my enthusiastic compliments on the creation. "We wanted the guests to enjoy the open spaces and the aesthetics of the design."
Cabins with a pastoral, quiet atmosphere
The two wooden cabins of the complex also receive an investor and loving attitude from the owner of the place. The atmosphere here is natural, pastoral, quiet. To highlight the uniqueness of the place, Dana added original oil paintings, the work of a local artist. And two-layer curtains can darken the space of the cabin and in one second, combined with the right lighting (or no lighting at all...) turn it into a hall of romance and sensuality.
In the cabin's spacious space, which is divided into open niches, you will find a large rectangular jacuzzi next to the window overlooking the view, a wardrobe for storing clothes, a wide and luxurious wooden bed and in front of it - an LCD screen with a cinema system and related accessories. The furniture here is mostly made to order to suit the conditions of the space.
A large gas fireplace produces a natural flame and adds warmth and intimacy to the atmosphere. A graceful dining corner boasts a pair of wicker chairs, in a rustic style and is one of the most pleasant corners in the cabin. The kitchenette is equipped with a state-of-the-art espresso machine and the list of treats includes delicious and unusual refreshments, the handiwork of the hostess.
The covered wooden balcony of the cabin is a kind of "transition" between inside and outside. A graceful picnic area is suitable for breakfast or drinking coffee in front of the view.
In conclusion:
The "Avir Harim" B&B complex in Moshav Shumra, in the Western Galilee, offers its guests a wealth of rare and particularly tempting qualities: complete privacy, a large and private swimming pool for each couple, a spacious and spectacularly beautiful garden area, a panoramic view of the Galilee and Lebanon mountains, the pleasures of the large jacuzzi and warm and cordial hospitality. For lovers of nature and pampering at the end of the world.
