..."אז ככה: יצא לנו לבדוק כבר מאות סוויטות, עם ג'קוזי, בריכות, LCD בגודל שלא נגמר והמצאות נוספות. אך מביני דבר רבים יודעים כי את חווית האירוח לא מודדים בגודל ה lcd. באכסניה, נראה כי המארחים יודעים מה חשוב באמת... התחלנו את הביקור במקום עם משהו קטן שהכין המארח שהנו שף (מתברר שגאון) לכבודנו וסיפק לנו טעימה מחווית האירוח המיוחדת כאן. רביולי גבינת עיזים ביתית עם קרם חצילים מעושן...פשוט מעולה"

יתרונות וחסרונות- סקירה מהשטח:
נו, אז הבנתם כבר- כאן לא תקבלו חוות דעת סטנדרטית על גדלים של מיטות, סוג הג'קוזי וכמה רחוקים השכנים, אלא תקבלו חווית אירוח שתשאיר אתכם "מפונקים". כי מי שמזמין את אחת משתי הסוויטות כאן, לא מזמין צימר. מזמינים כאן חווית אירוח מוקפדת ואיכותית, עם ארוחות שף מדהימות מבית מדרשו של "השף היושב". שימו את זה במתחם שכולו אווירה, שירות צמוד, הקפדה על פרטים ופינוקים קטנים שמחכים בצימר- ותקבלו אירוח בסגנון אחר, מפתיע ומיוחד.
אז לעבודה: עשינו תחקיר קטן על הקונספט שבנו כאן המארחים: אירוח קולינרי של טעמים ופינוקים. אחד האורחים היטיב לתאר את החוויה הקולינרית (כתב כך):

ועכשיו מביאים את המנה עשירית: קינוחים עם תה" סוף ציטוט.
טוב, אז אנחנו לא בטוחים שזה מה שתקבלו, כי התפריט משתנה לפי העונות, חומרי הגלם הטריים והמוזיקה שהושמעה באותו יום בפטיפון הנפלא שמצוי כאן, אבל מה שבטוח הוא שהסוויטה תהייה מוכנה עבורכם כבר בשעה 10:00 בבוקר עם פירות, שוקולדים, פיצוחים, יין מיקבי רמת הגולן, ועוד הרבה הפתעות ובערב (אם תהיו חכמים ותזמינו מראש) תוגש לכם ארוחה שהיא מסע קולינרי בן 10 מנות מדהימות. בבוקר שלמחרת לא צריך למהר- את ארוחת הבוקר העשירה ניתן לקבל גם ב12:00 בצהריים.
המתחם: שתי סוויטות ו"חדר פינוק"
'אכסניה' או בשמה המקורי XENIA שפירושה ביוונית 'אירוח והסברת פנים' היא מתחם בן שתי סוויטות הממוקם בקלע אלון, ישוב קטנטן בצפון הגולן. הסוויטות המתוקות אמנם ממוקמות בטרסה התחתונה של בית המארחים ופונות אל החזית ללא נוף מיוחד, אבל מציעות ערך מוסף אחר לגמרי- אופי, והרבה.
מסביב למבנים יש גינת תבלינים מטופחת ומתפרצת. הסוויטות 'מצוק' ו'חורש' די זהות, למעט כמה גוונים. בכל סוויטה יש סלון עם מטבחון מאובזר, בר ישיבה עם כיסאות גבוהים, קומקום חשמלי, מיקרוגל ומכונת קפה. ספה נפתחת וטלוויזיה LCD עם חיבור של Yes פתוחים אל חלון מעוצב וגדול עם וילון גדול ודלת יציאה לגינה, שם יש פינת ישיבה וכיסא נדנדה מעוצב תלוי.
בחדר השינה יש מיטה זוגית וג'קוזי קטן אל מול החלון. פרטיות רבה, כאמור, היא לא שם המשחק כאן ולנוף תצטרכו להגיע לבד.
נתעכב קצת על "חדר הפינוק" המצוי לצד הסוויטות- מדובר בחושה אולטימטיבית המכילה ג'קוזי ספא, תנור ופטיפון. ליד, ישנה בריכת טבילה פשוטה וחביבה. מסתבר שאלו ארבעת האלמנטים הכי נחוצים לאהבה (ע"פ הסקר האחרון של מינה צמח). כמובן שהסיפור הזה בא עם תקליטים. מי שלא שמע את הגרסה האנאלוגית של Dark side of the moon על סלעי בזלת ברמת הגולן לא שמע את פינק פלויד מימיו.
חשוב לדעת: "חדר הפינוק" הוא לא איזור משותף, כי אם נשמר (בתוספת תשלום) לאורחי סוויטת "חורש" בלבד.
המארחים- עניין של טעם
אופי האירוח כאן הוא באמת משהו אחר ומושתת, רובו ככולו על החוויה הקולינארית הייחודית שמביא עימו "השף היושב". תוסיפו את זה למיקום ב"קלע אלון" בצפון הגולן ותקבלו בסיס נהדר לטיולים באיזור, על בטן מלאה. לא, עם שף צמוד כזה לא תיפלו שוב למלכודת תיירים דרוזית "אותנתית" כזו או אחרת.
השף אמנם מרכיב בכל פעם מנות לפי הרוח שנחה עליו אבל חשוב לציין כי חשוב לו לקלוע לטעם האורחים ובעת ההזמנה תתבצע בדיקה להעדפותיהם הקולינאריות האידאולוגיות (לא סקר של הכנסת, רק בדיקה לגבי טבעונות וכאלה) והבריאותיות.
כשהגעתי, הוא היה ליד הכיריים במטבח, מכין כל מיני מנות קטנות ומסקרנות עם גבינות, ולמרות שאני טבעונית, הייתי חייבת לטעום כמעט מכל דבר, בהחלט אלוהי. ליאת, האשה שאיתו, מכינה את המאפים, העוגיות והלחמים ואחראית (עם הרבה תשומת לב, יש לומר) על הצדדים הקשורים לאירוח עצמו.
לסיכום: 'אכסניה – XENIA' הנה אכסניה מיוחדת במינה למאכלים, חופש, טעם טוב והרבה הרבה שאר רוח.

The perfect vacation.
We stayed on my partner's birthday in the pampering suites of Guy and Liat. We saw comments on the internet before, we read, we were impressed and how excellent the comments were, that's exactly how it was when we arrived. When we arrived, a decorated and festive birthday cake and a room full of balloons awaited us. We arrived in a spacious and beautiful room equipped with everything, from a rich coffee machine to a pampering spa basket. There is no doubt that every detail was thought of. There is a large and pampering jacuzzi in the room and also a jacuzzi outside the room. The highlight is the chef's meals. Guy is the resident chef who prepares food at a national level. Delicious and special food. During the three days we stayed there, we were treated each time with a different dessert/drink to the room as a surprise. To this day, half a year later, we don't stop talking about this vacation. There's no doubt we'll be back.

We returned this year again, to find that the place has improved, and everything is as excellent as it was, and more. Guy and Liat are charming, warm and attentive to all needs. Those who don't try the breakfasts - lose big!

Reviews of a hostel, suites for pampered couples
wow From the Thursday we entered the place or even from the first phone call, we knew it would be a successful vacation. We celebrated my partner's birthday, when we entered there was a birthday cake, wine and scattered balloons waiting for us. After a few hours, a dinner by the resident chef was waiting for us - 10 selected dishes. One is better than the other. Desserts throughout the day..
And so it continued on Friday until midnight when we left.
The rooms are stunning, well equipped. You can see that there was a lot of thought. Jacuzzi in the room, spa basket. A kitchenette with quality coffee and homemade cookies. The room has an inviting smell. Everything is so clean. Go to the room, there is another pampering room where there are more hot bubble jacuzzis, a turntable and heating.

Beyond the wonderful suite (our second time), this time we also chose to participate in a special meal by the resident chef (Guy) and the wonderful woman with him (Liat) for 20 people, 10 dishes of heaven.
