The Pinchas and Gaston estates in Liman and Shavei Zion (in this review) have already won all possible crowns as the "kings" of romantic hospitality in Israel. And no wonder: the complexes offer a perfect, luxurious design on a museum level, a prime location on the seafront or in secluded suites, shared and private heated pools, a hot tub, a wine cellar, exceptional fittings and finishes, and above all - a luxurious atmosphere unlike any other in Israel, or perhaps the world. We wouldn't be surprised if the next James Bond movie was filmed there...
Pinchas and Gaston in captivity in Zion:
"God is in the small details" - declares Pini Selma, the charismatic owner of the boutique hotel "Pinchas and Gaston", as I sit across from him in the kitchen of the luxurious villa in Shavei Zion, sipping coffee, relaxing in front of the pastoral view of the seashore spread out before me. Indeed, the small details (and the big details, and the details in general) in the new mansion are certainly endowed with a divine spirit, after all, perfection, as we know, is the domain of God alone.
And if I put philosophy aside, I can simply state that the new Pinchas and Gaston mansion in Shavei Zion is a work of art in the field of modern design. Each piece of furniture is extraordinary, innovative and stunning in its beauty, carefully collected from top designers in Europe and combined with other items with great skill so that the overall result is amazing in harmony and perfection.
"There are no other things like this in Israel," adds Pini, and he is right again. In terms of aesthetics, equipment, level of investment, and luxury, this place is a breakthrough, a kind of "leap-frog" in the field of luxury B&Bs.
The owner of this boutique hotel has managed to create an ultimate experience of luxury, romance, and pampering, with all the elements - the location and view, the building itself, the interior design, and the design (yes, the design again, it's the mansion's strong point) serving the purpose precisely and with excellent taste.
Let me take you, dear surfers, on a virtual tour of this wonderful place: the new, luxurious "Pinchas and Gaston" hospitality estate, located on the southern coast of the Western Galilee in Moshav Shavei Zion, about 50 meters from the seashore, near a wild area where sea turtles lay their eggs. A spacious villa (about 700 square meters) welcomes guests, where, on an impressive dining table, breakfast is served to guests.
The villa also features luxurious seating areas, a wood fireplace, and windows that open onto a garden with a large heated swimming pool with sea views. In the basement - a professional spa complex, boutique wine cellar, and cigars.
The suites themselves have the same design but are organized differently. One of them is on the lower floor and the other three are on the second floor, and all have a beautiful wooden balcony facing the sea. The floors are connected by spiral staircases, reminiscent of staircases in ancient European castles. The lighting is soft, relaxing, and pleasing to the eye, creating a particularly romantic and relaxed atmosphere.
The suites themselves feature a clean and elegant design line, rich in quality details with a nautical touch, connecting guests to the natural environment - lighting fixtures made of shells (which, incidentally, are on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York), a bathtub shaped like a seashell, and even a stylish toilet resembling the toilets on luxury yachts.
As I wander around the spacious, open, and bright space of the suite, my eyes catch other unusual details - a handmade woven carpet, an abstract-style wall painting, wooden cabinets with a division into men's and women's sides, a classic-style secretary, a beautifully designed wooden fireplace - scenes from famous Hollywood films run through my imagination - elegant, slender women standing on an oak floor in red evening dresses, gnarled men with a cigar in their hands, a light breeze caressing the transparent white curtains... Then, suddenly, a brilliant idea popped into my head: the next James Bond movie must be filmed in one of the hotel's suites! What a pleasure it would be to watch it on the suite's huge plasma TV with all the luxuries of a state-of-the-art cinema system.
And so, amazed and full of experiences, I approached the beautiful wooden balcony and my breath was taken away: the view reflected towards me was simply unbelievable! The clear air, the salty sea breeze, the close and soothing sound of the waves and the powerful, wild, overwhelming blue color that burst into my body and caused tremendous excitement.
Thus, standing on the balcony of the luxurious and beautiful suite of the "Pinchas and Gaston" hospitality estate in Shavei Zion, I realized that I had finally found what I had been looking for for so long - a place that allows breathing space, calm and liberating, that provides all the pampering at the highest standards in the world - the truly perfect freedom.
